OPEN, CLOSED, OR COMPLETELY CLOSED EVENT?

Open Event, means that the space is open during the event and people can freely join to the event without payment. This also means that people can have their lunch and coffee breaks around the community space as they normally would.

Closed Event, means that the event is private, and organizer can determine the participants. (Organizer can request nominal compensation from the event participant.) The space will be only open for house residents for kitchen and basic use.

  1. Make sure your event is somehow related to entrepreneurship. (For example for personal birthday parties we suggest you find a different venue.)
  2. Book the space from our booking system Skedda, and read the terms of service (If you are not a Tribe Fellow, Platform6 startup or Tribe Community Partner, please contact our team)
  3. If the event is open to public, please add it to our event calendar.
  4. Remember that the house residents and Tribe Fellows with a key will always have access to the space, so someone might stop by for a coffee etc. during your event.
  5. If the event starts after 17:00 on weekdays, or is on a weekend, make sure you have a key, or someone to open the door for you. You should also have someone downstairs to open the front door for your attendees.
  6. You can freely use our cups, plates, coffee machines etc. as long as you clean after yourself and wash the dishes afterwards.
  7. Same goes with furniture, audiovisual equipments etc. You can use them and move them around as long as you return everything back to how it was.

Enjoy your stay at Platform6 community space, operated by Tribe Tampere! The place for Tampere entrepreneurial people and startup communities!
