Åkerlundinkatu 8, Tampere – Platform6 community space, 5th floor – Tribe Tampere

This agreement is made between Tribe Tampere ry and Skedda User, and the person/organisation using the Platform6 5th floor community space at the booked time. (Skedda is the venue booking software we use) 

Tribe Tampere premises can only be booked for events and meetings that are related to entrepreneurship.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You are not only responsible for yourself but also for the ones you let into the premises.

Please act responsibly and make sure that the rooms and work areas you have used are clean and in order when you leave. Make sure that the lights are turned off and the doors are fully closed after you leave the place.

Skedda User shall remove all personal property, trash, and other items that were not present in the venue when Skedda User took control of it. The venue shall be returned to its original condition and be ready for normal use

ACCESSING THE SPACE OUTSIDE THE OFFICE HOURS
Platform6 front door, and the 5th floor community space door is locked outside office hours. You are fully responsible for the premises, to take all the necessary precautions on using it (be aware of emergency exits, fire extinguishing equipments, first-aid packages etc.).

NOTE! Only Platform6 members, Tribe Tampere Fellows and Tribe Tampere Partners can book the premises after office hours (09:00 – 17:00).  If you want to organize an event after office hours or on a weekend and you are not Platform6 member, Tribe Tampere Fellow or Tribe Tampere Partner, you will always need a Tribe staff member to assist you and will be charged accordingly.

IN CASE OF LOSING THE KEY
If you lose your key, you shall report about it to the personnel immediately in order to cancel the access rights for that key: community(at)tribetampere.com

IN CASE OF DAMAGES, MALFUNCTIONING OR VIOLATIONS
Skedda User will be liable for any physical damages, legal actions, and/or loss of reputation or business opportunities that Tribe Tampere Ry may incur as a consequence of the actions of Skedda User or any of Skedda User’s guests while Skedda User is in control of the venue and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Tribe Tampere Ry against any and all legal actions which may arise from Skedda User’s use of the venue.                                                        

Damages and security cases are assessed after the event, therefore the final bill will include any additional charges for actual damages done to the venue by Skedda User or his/her associates.

Tribe Tampere has the right to remove your access rights any time, if any violations of the law, these general rules or the common sense are suspected.

OPEN, CLOSED, OR COMPLETELY CLOSED EVENT?

Open Event, means that the space is open during the event and people can freely join to the event without payment. This also means that people can have their lunch and coffee breaks around the community space as they normally would.

Closed Event, means that the event is private, and organizer can determine the participants. (Organizer can request nominal compensation from the event participant.) The space will still be open for house residents for kitchen and basic use.

5th floor completely closed. In principle, our community facilities are always open to community members. 

NOTE! There is 24/7 camera surveillance on the premises of Tribe Tampere

PERSONAL INFORMATION
The user agrees that the information provided is true and can be used for contact, by phone or email, regarding Tribe Tampere ry premises, marketing and other announcements related to the company and its partners. However, the information will not be sold or shared to third parties.

*Sauna is free 24/7 for all the Platform6 members, Tribe Tampere Fellows and partners without reservation. 

Actual costs will be invoiced retrospectively according to the reservations and usage.

Checklist for event organisers

  1. Make sure your event is somehow related to entrepreneurship. (For example for personal birthday parties we suggest you find a different venue.)
  2. Book the space from our booking system Skedda, and read the terms of service (If you are not a Tribe Fellow, Platform6 startup or Tribe Community Partner, please contact our team)
  3. If the event is open to public, please add it to our event calendar.
  4. Remember that the house residents and people with a key will always have access to the space, so someone might stop by for a coffee etc. during your event.
  5. If the event starts after 17:00 on weekdays, or is on a weekend, make sure you have a key, or someone to open the door for you. The Platform6 front door will be locked  outside of office hours and on weekends, so you should also have someone downstairs to open the front door for your attendees. Note that you are not allowed to leave the front door open unsupervised!
  6. You can freely use our cups, plates, coffee machines etc. as long as you clean after yourself and wash the dishes afterwards.
  7. Same goes with furniture, audiovisual equipments etc. You can use them and move them around as long as you return everything back to how it was.
